5 quick tips to get more Sellers and Buyers

As we keep seeing more and more
people try and catch the Social Media
craze I have to chuckle at some of the
efforts.

Mostly because people are still living in
80’s and your customers want a Solution right now.
YOUR Job is to give it to them.
In the manner they are looking for!

I will give an example.  One person I saw
is all over Facebook looking for Short Sales
in California and he is giving his phone number
for people to call if they find one.

The only real website links he has on his page
are affiliate links – or links to a Ning Page
that you have to register for to actually
then go and find the guy.

Honestly – that’s to much work.

Here is what he could do to improve his referrals
and his income pretty quickly.

1.  Get a website – any website up is better
than nothing – but get SOMETHING up that people
can go and see who you are.  Even if it is a simple
blog on Blogger.com

Get an easy to remember domain name like
TerrySavesHouses or something like that and forward
it to your blog if you have to.

2.  Go to Ping.FM – create accounts in the Social Networks,
all of them – and for now they don’t have to be all pretty.
Just get them up because with one simple little click of the mouse
you can get your message out to ALL of your sites with one little
click of the button.

And that message needs to send them to your website.

Honestly – this takes about an hour – have your kids make create them
and give em $5 for doing it.

3.  Give them a compelling reason to give you their name and email
address so you can follow up over and over.

This one step will make you 25 times what you are doing right now,
if it is a seller – a buyer – someone looking to send you leads,
whatever – you MUST have a good Lead generation System.

4.  Follow Up – Use a good autoresponder service
like Aweber or 1shoppingcart.

You should plan on setting up an email series that
reaches out to people over and over again.

Set it up 1 time and then you never have to mess with it again.

Here is the cool part – you can start this today enter
a message a day and 12 weeks from now you are done.

5.  Learn to ask for Referrals – look think about this:
I come from the real estate side – we live and breath referrals
but most of us are still acting like the Neanderthal Cavemen
going out to club our women and drag them back to the caves.

We have to grow – and grow quickly – and Ask For Referrals.

I mean really – why would you work so hard to get someone to
contact you and NOT ask if they knew someone else looking
for YOUR solution.

Lastly – go out and Implement

When I send a simple 140 txt message to the net it actually goes
out to over 50+ different sites.
When I create a simple Blog Post and then use a simple Social Bookmarking
Service it goes out to over 150 – oh yeah – the service does not cost
a dime.

And it takes me about 5 minutes to do but the IMPACT, crazy!
