<p>Ever see the Reality Series Pawn Shop?</p>
<p>It is a real life Pawn Shop in Vegas.  Sounds<br />
boring as heck right?</p>
<p>Well they have some Real World Negotiating<br />
Strategies I have uncovered that You can<br />
Implement TODAY that will have your sellers<br />
dropping their prices faster than an a<br />
speeding bullwhip.</p>
<p>When you are Belly to Belly with a<br />
seller this week remember these 3<br />
tips:</p>
<p>Here they are real quick.</p>
<p>1.  They ALWAYS ask why the person<br />
is selling.</p>
<p>They couple it with &#8211; &#8220;man this is a nice<br />
piece&#8221; or &#8220;it&#8217;s it great condition &#8211; why<br />
are you selling?&#8221;</p>
<p>This does a couple of things &#8211; it tests their<br />
Motivation and 2 &#8211; it Solidifies in the sellers<br />
mind their NEED<br />
to get rid of the item (i.e. their house)</p>
<p> It softens the resolve to negotiate hard if they<br />
have already made the decision to get rid<br />
of it.</p>
<p>2. They always say &#8211; I&#8217;ll pay you in &#8220;Hundred<br />
Dollar Bills&#8221;</p>
<p>Think about this &#8211; how many times have you said &#8211; I<br />
want to roll around in a bed of Hundred Dollar<br />
Bills!</p>
<p>Demi Moore did just that in a movie and it left many<br />
an impression in my mind <img src='http://terrywygal.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>The Power of the Mind to visualize rolling<br />
around or carrying an armload of Hundred Dollar Bills<br />
is pretty powerful &#8211; and if the seller feels that YOU<br />
are the one that can make this happen makes You King for the Day!</p>
<p>Now &#8211; you MIGHT be able to work that into the conversation<br />
BUT what if you pulled a check book out and filled one out<br />
with your FULL Offer on it?</p>
<p>And then slid it across the desk to the seller?</p>
<p>I know may an investor who has done exactly that<br />
and let the seller know that THIS is waiting<br />
when we get clear title.</p>
<p>Now Don&#8217;t worry &#8211; as long as you don&#8217;t sign the check<br />
you are OK &#8211; there is still plenty of room to<br />
negotiate the timing of the close so you can<br />
determine your exit strategy.</p>
<p>Negotiation Strategy number 3 &#8211; when they ask the seller<br />
how much they want &#8211; they ALWAYS have a comeback.</p>
<p>Sometimes it is &#8211; &#8220;Is that American Cash?&#8221;  or<br />
&#8220;Keep on dreaming&#8221; or &#8220;I bet you would&#8221; or my<br />
favorite &#8211; &#8220;No, Really How much&#8221; followed<br />
by a booming laugh.</p>
<p>The laugh is very important &#8211; think of it<br />
as the verbal Flinch &#8211; sometimes they will<br />
just flat out Hang their head as if to<br />
say &#8211; &#8220;are you out of your flippin mind??&#8221;</p>
<p>If those don&#8217;t work the Pawn Shop guys<br />
are very upfront with the fact that they<br />
are in a Business and it HAS to make money. Period!</p>
<p>They even tell them things like:</p>
<p>Look with my holding costs&#8230;<br />
In order for me to make a profit&#8230;<br />
I can&#8217;t pay retail&#8230;</p>
<p>Those things all help them lead<br />
to a Buy that is in their favor.</p>
<p>And simple things YOU can do in your<br />
next real estate purchase.</p>
